“I am a family man, grandfather, adventurer, aviator, scout Leader, and businessman, who’s mantra is “Life is for living!” Whether I am camping, Touring the outback, taking to the skies in an aeroplane or glider, diving on sunken wrecks or simply taking in an amazing view, I am always on a self driven adventure, and passionate about experiencing all there is to do outdoors.”
Trained in outdoor skills from a young age, and later as a leader of youth and adults in Adventure Activity Pursuits in Canoes, Kayaks, Snorkelling, Scuba Diving and 4WD.

- Professional 4WD Tour Guide
- Diploma in Outdoor Leadership
- Remote Area First Aid and CPR
- Recreational Pilots License
- Open Water Scuba Diving Instructor
- Registered House Builder
Madhat was born in 2003 when Guy made his first crossing of the Simpson Desert in a 4WD with other like minded people. Madhat is the acronym formed from the first letter of each of their surnames.
When Guy is not out on an adventure somewhere or attending to business, he enjoys time with his wife, 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
